Roof rack side rails

LED headlights with High Beam Assist
A unique twin headlight design with available LED headlights and standard LED Daytime Running Lights create an unmistakable front light signature. The available High Beam Assist technology provides added convenience by detecting oncoming vehicles, as well as vehicles in the same lane, and changes from high beam to low beam automatically, as appropriate.
Heated front seats and steering wheel
The Canadian climate guarantees you'll face frigid winter conditions, which is why both the driver and front passenger can warm up on the heated front seats. An available heated steering adds that extra touch of warmth and luxury.
Colour package
Opt for a more vibrant cabin with 1.6T Ultimate models which feature an optional colour package with select exterior colours (Phantom Black and Acid Yellow).

The standard 2.0L engine delivers 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® manual mode for performance and fuel economy in perfect balance.
1.6L Turbocharged GDI engine
The available 175 horsepower 1.6L Turbocharged engine takes you from 0 to 100 in under 8 seconds. Together with a fast shifting 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission and All-Wheel Drive, it gives you the power and poise to handle city streets and country roads with ease.
All-Wheel Drive
The available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system offers optimum handling, cornering performance and improved traction to help make slippery and bumpy surfaces safer. It also features an advanced Active Cornering Control system which monitors driver inputs and road conditions, automatically applying power and braking force to the appropriate wheels to maintain course in adverse conditions.
SUPERSTRUCTURE™
The all-new KONA features an ultra-rigid vehicle chassis at its core, what we call the SUPERSTRUCTURE™. We built it with our very own Advanced High Strength Steel, designed to be stronger, stiffer and lighter than conventional steel, to provide greater benefits in safety, ride comfort and fuel economy. In the event of a collision, the SUPERSTRUCTURE™ helps protect occupants inside the cabin by absorbing harmful energy and redirecting it away from the passenger compartment.
Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
The available Autonomous Emergency Braking system uses the front mounted camera and the radar sensor to monitor the traffic ahead. Should it detect a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian in your path, it will warn the driver and if required, automatically slow or stop the vehicle.
Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
Using two radar sensors in the lower rear bumper, the available Blind Spot Detection system visually warns you of traffic in the blind spot area. Should you set the turn indicator in such a situation, the Lane Change Assist will sound an alert if the vehicle in the adjacent lane is approaching at a faster speed than you are travelling to safely pass.

Rain sensing wipers
The available rain sensing wipers will turn on automatically when rain drops are detected on windshield. The speed of the wipers will also automatically change based on the amount of rain, and turn off when rain drops are no longer detected.
Wireless charging pad
Located in the centre console, an available wireless charging pad lets you easily charge a compatible smartphone without the use of messy and unsightly cables.
