For the first time ever, the Veloster N now offers an available automatic N 8-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission with paddle shifters, so you can discover another side of this high-performance vehicle.
Exterior
The design of the Veloster N conveys the brand’s high-performance identity with its enhanced aerodynamic design, as well as its aggressive and bold image. Sporty red trim accents placed around the front and rear bumper reflect its performance credentials. Already have your eyes on the powerful Ignite Flame red? Then those accents are switched to a sporty dark grey trim. Up front, a wide stance, low centre of gravity and aggressive grille with N badging makes a powerful statement.

19” alloy wheels
The high-performance 235/35 R19 Pirelli P-Zero summer tires were engineered exclusively for the Veloster N. Wrapped around machined-finish, lightweight 19” alloys, its tread pattern and nano-composite compound were specifically tailored for optimal grip, lateral stability and stopping power.

Active sport exhaust

N-exclusive gauge cluster
Unique to the Veloster N, the exclusive gauge cluster features sequential shift lights to let you know when you’re approaching red line, so you can shift gears at the precise moment to maximize performance.
N Light Sports Bucket Seats
With an integrated headrest and slim, race-inspired profile – the new N sport bucket seats provide enhanced support and hug during spirited driving. An illuminated N logo on the upper side of the backrest adds to the interior aesthetic.
N-exclusive steering wheel
The steering wheel in the Veloster N features an exclusive, eye-catching design, giving you an even sportier feeling while behind the wheel. But this doesn’t come at the expense of comfort, because heated steering comes standard.

BlueLink® connectivity
Bluelink® is our available connected vehicle system designed to enhance vehicle ownership. Access a suite of features with your smartphone or the in-vehicle system that includes remote lock and unlock, remote vehicle start* and even remote control to set the cabin temperature to your preference. In the event of an accident, it can even send an automatic collision notification and request assistance.

Equipped with launch control, the Veloster N delivers an energizing snap that will keep you firmly planted at the back of your seat. Further enhancing the experience, a shift timing indicator alerts you to an approaching redline for peak acceleration. Choose between six-speed manual transmission with auto rev-matching for quicker and sportier downshifts, or the new N DCT with two separate clutches for increased efficiency, faster shifting and driving convenience.
The N exclusive steering wheel puts driving performance features right at your fingertips with the dedicated N button. Choose N mode for optimal performance settings, or tailor the driving dynamics exactly to your preferences with Custom mode. It allows you to individually select your preferred steering weight, engine mapping, damper firmness, exhaust sound and stability control, and then store the selected setting as your custom profile to be recalled later at the press of a button.

N 8-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission
The new N 8-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission (N DCT) is an automated manual transmission with two separate clutches for increased efficiency, faster shifting and driving convenience. The wet clutch system offers better cooling and copes with high torque; and comes with a simple gear lever arrangement, so you can push forward to downshift and pull back to upshift. With three high-performance functions enhancing the fun, you get full control over your drive.

Hyundai SmartSense™ safety features include a range of camera, radar and motion detection technologies to provide you with added peace of mind. New for 2021, the Veloster N is now equipped with an array of these features.
The SUPERSTRUCTURE™
At the core of the Veloster N is the SUPERSTRUCTURE™, a state-of-the-art platform built with our Advanced High-Strength Steel that is designed to be stronger, stiffer and lighter than conventional steel. In the event of a collision, the SUPERSTRUCTURE™ helps protect occupants inside the vehicle by absorbing harmful energy and redirecting it away from the passenger compartment.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection
This standard safety feature is designed to detect a vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver of a potential frontal collision. If the driver does not react to avoid impact, the system will apply emergency braking.
Blind-Spot Collision Warning
Capable of sensing a vehicle approaching the driver’s blind spot, standard Blind-Spot Collision Warning provides both an audible and visual alert to help reduce the potential for a collision.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning
To help make reversing safer – especially when you’re backing out of a parking space with limited visibility – the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning uses radar to help detect and warn if a vehicle is approaching from the left or right, even before the vehicle is in view of the rearview camera.
Driver Attention Warning
Designed to detect the onset of driver fatigue, this standard system will monitor driver input and issue a visual and audible alert if fatigue is sensed, suggesting a break.
Lane Following Assist
Using the front-view camera to detect lane markers on the road, this feature assists the driver’s steering to help keep the vehicle centered inside the lane.
Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keeping Assist
Start drifting outside of your lane without signaling and this standard system is designed to inform you with audible and visual cues. If no action is taken, Lane Keeping Assist can apply corrective steering assistance to help keep the vehicle within the lane markings.
High Beam Assist
Using the front-mounted camera and light detection technology, standard High Beam Assist provides an extra level of convenience by automatically switching between high and low beam when traffic is detected ahead.
