AGINCOURT HYUNDAI

2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport | Performance Features

It looks stunning in your driveway. It's just more comfortable taking you to your next adventure. And doing so in the most resourceful way, as the Santa Fe Sport delivers the perfect balance of horsepower and fuel efficiency.
The standard GDI 2.4L 4-cylinder engine is a high-tech wonder. It features Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT) and Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) to deliver 190 hp and 181 lb.-ft. of torque. That's more standard horsepower than Toyota Venza and Chevy Equinox.* And for more power, you can select the available 2.0T with 265 hp.
Drivers enjoy a greater sense of control and satisfaction courtesy of Hyundai's innovative Driver Selectable Steering Mode (DSSM). Select one of its three operating modes-Comfort, Normal and a retuned and enhanced Sport mode-and adapt the Santa Fe Sport's steering characteristics to a range of driving preferences.
Every Santa Fe Sport engine is mated to Hyundai's 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC. It puts the control in your hands for responsive performance and offers features to help you get more miles out of every gallon of gas.
Extensive computer modeling and powertrain performance mapping were used to modify engine and transmission control, giving you improved real-world fuel economy-up to 7% based on internal tests.
This 2.0L GDI 4-cylinder engine features a twin-scroll turbo that pumps out 265 hp and 269 lb.-ft. of torque. Engineered to run on regular unleaded gas, its highly advanced design helps improve combustion efficiency and provides low-engine-speed efficiency.
